| Description | This was a very special showhome project for us to design and build. We were able to collaborate with a local geo-thermal supplier to show how amazing energy efficiency can be accomplished without breaking the bank and without sacrificing beauty. This home also features energy saving practices like sprayfoam and batt insulation in the walls, water saving toilets, geo-thermal heat and LED lighting. The Energuide rating is 89 which was the most efficient home south of Calgary at that time. Because there is no gas line to the home we decided to add a water wall as a room divider between the living room and dining/kitchen area. There are also many built in cabinets throughout, laundry chute, beautiful stairway with an incorporated bench and many other features you can see on the pictures. We were blessed to win both local and provincial awards for the home. |
